How to do use the KK Email List What is the KK Email List The list is an open forum for all members to use. Any email sent to list@kinkykent.co.uk will (in most cases) be sent to all KK members who have opted to receive list emails. Guidance Introduce Yourself - tell us a bit about yourself, but please don't "advertise" yourself or treat the list like a personals site - it is not good list etiquette to say " I am looking for a Mistress". Get to know people, make friends, come to evens if you can, get known. Keep Personal Info Personal - there are over 700 members on this list now, you do not know everyone personally...it could be the lady next door, your boss at work etc. Therefore, please don't post your mobile number/address/real name etc to the list!! Keep Private emails Private - If you want to follow up a posting to the list from someone with a more personal email then please do not send the personal mail to the list. Copy and paste their email address and ensure that the list@kinkykent.co.uk address is removed from the 'To' section of your message. This reduces the amount of unwanted mail for the 700 odd other users of the list!! The maximum size of an email to the list is 50Kb. If you try sending a email bigger than this it will be automatically bounced by the server. You will get an email to tell you this. Be wary of Attachments - some contain viruses, (although the list is virus checked it is not a 100% guarantee against viruses) and some people are on a slow dial up...and attachments take ages to download!!! *There is No Right and No Wrong way* - BDSM is hugely personal, what works for some people doesn't work for others. E/everyone has their own way. Please respect the variety of people and views we have in this community. Fed up with the volume of mail?? - goto http://kinkykent.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/list_kinkykent.co.uk and change Y/your options to 'daily digest'. This means that all the mail sent to the list for the day are delivered in one bite size email rather than many separate editions. Replying to a list email - please delete the original message from Y/your reply so that those on daily digest do not end up with a mass of repeated mail!! Thanks! Also please use plain text in you emails to the list as the people who are getting daily digest see any formatting as gibberish!! If as sometimes happens the topic of the email changes from the orriginal PLEASE change the subject heading so that it is clear what is being discussed. Don't want to be on the list anymore?? - follow the link at the bottom of the list emails to change Y/your options or to unsubscribe. Y/you do not need to post a message to the list to unsubscribe, just follow the instructions on the link!! It would be helpful if Y/you let us know why Y/you no longer wish to be on the list, so that we can improve it further.
