Folkestone Munch We will be meeting in The Castle Inn again for the next Folkestone Munch. The last few munches 20 to 30 people have come along and we all had a great evening. As you walk in from the street, go into the lounge bar (NOT the Dungeon Bar!! although it is a better name), and we have a large area furthest from the bar, but we'll have an A to Z of Kent map book and a teddy bear in bondage on our table, to help everybody find us. Its a semi private area so this is good, and they are happy to have a group using it. Please be aware that the bar does have locals so please do remember that this is a vanilla venue. The Inn does do food, not that we have tried this yet..... Please do come along and meet up with us all. Have a drink (nice dark mild!!), a bite to eat and some good chat. The aim of the munch is for as many of us who want to, to meet up and be able to talk about anything (and possibly everything), to get to know each other and have a good laugh! Please come for 30 minutes or the whole evening, How to find The Castle Inn The Castle is just outside the town centre, about a 5 or 6 minute walk from Folkestone Central train station. Its on the corner of Foord Road and St. John Church Road. For a wider area map click here. The Inn is nearer the church (thats the '+' sign on the map!!) just above and to the right of the arrow. Car parking - wellllll there isn't much apart from street parking so please take care parking. If you are at all worried about walking in or finding us, please email us and we can arrange to meet outside and come in with you.
